Their cheesecake is a must try. Its my favorite cake as they have the perfect combination of sweetness and tanginess.
I feel like I had just discovered Frost Bakery! For some relatives birthday party I had to to supply two cakes and I didn't have time to bake them. So I decided to try Frost Bakery since they seem to be the only ones that made homestyle cakes. Trust me, I was not disappointed In the least. My very favorite was the caramel cake but the strawberry was a close. Second! I even decided I wanted the caramel cake when my birthday came. I highly recommend this Bakery. They have many other treats besides cakes and they do a lot of specialty decoration.
I am so very glad that I found this place. The cakes that were on display were so very beautiful and detailed. Their cakes stand out from other bakeries and are guaranteed to be the hit of any party or venue that you may need sweets for. They have a huge selection of goodies to choose from. They. Have cupcakes, brownies, cookies, cheesecakes, lemon bars….you name it, they got it! This is not necessarily a bad thing but if you are not into super sweet icing then this may not the place for you. The icing is VERY sweet but it’s sooooo good!!! The cupcakes are very moist and not dried out at all. The gluten free cheesecake seems to be more on the lighter side, just a heads up if you are looking for something that is not too “heavy”. The strawberry lemonade cupcake was my personal favorite! Those flavors just go together so well! The decor and atmosphere in here is vibrant and upbeat. The “cupcake tree” painted on the wall is also nice to look at. I highly recommend you stop in and get you some goodies if in Memphis!
A friend got a cake from here for my birthday - it was SO good! It was a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting; the cake was perfectly moist and had a rich, wonderful flavor without being overly sweet. I was impressed - that's always a sign of an exceptional baker. This is the only cake I've ever had where the leftovers were frozen - can't waste a bite of this. Now to try the cookies!
Frost Bakery is a delight every time we go. From friendly staff to delicious flavors, a visit make my kids' day each time. Bonus: they are on the Tennessee Kids Belong Foster Friendly App and I love telling all of my friends who are fostering to check them out!
This place has banging cakes, cookies and cupcakes. My daughter loves the strawberry and chocolate cake and cupcakes. I love the chocolate pecan cookie and carrot cake. Always friendly service and nice music playing. I like the menu board also. Prices are high but definitely worth it.
Immediately the cupcake smell hits you and you know you're about to have something so tasty. I've just had the cupcakes and their cookie samples, and so far everything has been so yummy. I get the German Chocolate Cupcake. The cake is soft and moist and the icing is the best compliment. It doesn't make it out of the parking lot! I feel like you can't go wrong. The perfect sweet treat after a meal.
We're out of towners Stopped by to grab some German chocolate cupcakes for dad's birthday, the gentleman named T at the register was very welcoming and friendly! We ended up getting 4 cupcakes and 2 mini key lime pies that were so adorable! Very good presentation for a birthday present, took the bag T put it in straight to dad and he said (and I quote) "aww man this the best German chocolate I ever had!! Boy this is good" im glad I set up a rewards number because we definitely will be back when we're back in town :)
